Suddenly at home with Jill, 7 May 2020, Aged 67 years. Dearly loved husband of Jill and the late Ainsley. Loved father and father-in-law of Nicki and Gavin Angus, Briget and Trevor Prescott. Adored G D of Harlow and Verity. Loved eldest son of Kevin and the late Betty Ridden. Brother and brother-in-law of Christine and the late Vaughan Smith, Denise and Harold Schreurs, Mark, Tony and Sharon, David and Christine and John. Loved son-in-law of Sylvia and the late Graham Dyer, brother-in-law of John and Jane Dyer. Val, Judy, Neville and Shelley wish to let our extended family and many friends know that our much loved husband and father left us on Saturday afternoon, May 9, 2020. Maurie was a special father-in-law to David; Grandad and Great-Grandad to Melissa, Ally, Nicholas, Helena, Linnea and Lily. Sister Betty, nieces and nephews are a comfort while we share wonderful memories. Special sincere thanks to the carers at Cargill Rest Home who took wonderful care of Maurie. Unexpectedly in her sleep at home on Wednesday 6 May 2020; aged 53 years. Loved and cherished wife of Murray, loving and caring mother of Justin and Fay, Steven and Fiona and Alex, loving eldest daughter of Neil and Roena McKay, sister of Vaughan, Phillip and Nicola, Joanne, and Katrina and Steve, sister-in-law of Margaret, Ron and Amy, Gordon and Debbie, Bruce and Avis, Alan and Bronwyn, Lynn and Bint, Glenda and Neville, Russel and Joanne. A private gathering will be held for Frances with a public memorial service to be held at a later date, to be advised. Frances will be lovingly laid to rest at the Eastern Cemetery.
