Passed away at Southland Hospital, on Monday, January 11, 2021, in her 87th year. Loved wife of the late John (Jock), loved mother and mother-in-law of Graeme and Alison (Seaward Downs), Lynley and Robert Robinson (Cromwell), Alan (Jock) and Deidre (Edendale), loved Gran of Matthew, Reuben and Rachel, Jordan and Amy; Hannah and Clement Lind, Sandra and Chris Campbell; Bevan and Anita, Brent, Douglas and Emma, and a loved great-Gran of her 11, almost 12, great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Merle’s life will be held at the Edendale Presbyterian Church, Brydone Street, on Friday, January 15, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Edendale Cemetery. Died unexpectedly but peacefully at CCU, Southland Hospital on Monday, 11 January 2021. Aged 84 years. Adored and devoted husband to Lois for 66 years.
