CARSE, David (Dave). Peacefully with his loving family by his side, at
Gore Hospital, on Saturday, September 8, 2018, in his 78th year. Loved husband and best friend of Bronwyn, loved father, father-in-law and friend of Janine and Donald, Angela, Simon and Janelle; Joanne, Lisa and Grant, adored Grandad of George, May, Tom and Neve; Sinead and A.J., Ethan, Reuben; Angus, Sophie, Logan, Brodie, Kayla, Carlos; Neve and Matthew, and great-Grandad of Ryker, and Jaedyn. A service to celebrate Dave’s life will be held in the Mataura RSA Clubrooms, 49 River Street, on Thursday, September 13, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. HOGG, David Oliver. 19.8.1929 – 4.9.2018 At Peacehaven, Invercargill, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. At rest after a long struggle, in his 90th year. Loved companion of Eileen Hadfield (Manapouri), and beloved husband of the late Joan. Loved father and father-in-law of Jill and Lester Marshall, Jude and Shane, Alan and Linda, Peter and Diana, Sara and Neil Hassall, and John. Loved (Grumpy) Grandad of his 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Quin and Meg. A good friend to Eileen’s family. FALCONER, Neville Lindsay. Peacefully at Gore Hospital, on Monday, September 3, 2018, aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Patricia (Kaiwera), loved and respected father, father-in-law and friend of Diane Falconer and Geoff McLeod (Redhill, England), Kathryn Falconer and John Murphy (Stourbridge, England), Trish Falconer and Shane Black (Invercargill), the late Craig, Peter and Cornel Falconer (Kaiwera). Loved and cherished Grandad of Emma, Anna, Eva, Kristen and Jesse. Loved brother and brother-in-law of David and Kathleen, Douglas and Clare, and Ron, loved brother-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Bert, Jane and Peter, Peter and Karen, Holmes and Raewyn, and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Loved daughter of Bob and Rose, loved sister and sister-in-law of David and Janelle (Levin), the late Donald, Jonathan (Tauranga), Trina and James Roy (Wanganui), Alan (Wellington), and loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews.
