BAZLEY, Absalom Waata – ‘Abby’
25 July 1971 – 29 July 2020, 49 years, passed away in Singapore aboard his ship the Pacific Dove. Loving husband to Rachael Bazley (nee Young),  Father to Jade Attfield-Bazley (Bluff),  Shaye Graham and Orion Daley-Coers and Milan Bazley (Perth). Granddad to Aleesya Attfield.  Dearly beloved Son of Louise Fowler and the late Stephen Bazley. Absolutely awesome brother of the late Jimmy Lawerence, Roland Bazley (Auckland), Deborah Hayman (Tasmania), Tony Bazley (London), Aarnon & Mike Horler and Amarin Bazley & Kimiora Raea.  Cherished Grandson (Abby-Rose) of Mick & Honey Fowler. Loved Uncle, Nephew and Cousin, and a great friend to many.
Abby is resting with his family in Perth.  Services to be held 14 August 2020 at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, Perth: 3.30pm (AWST), and J Fraser & Son Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill: 7.30pm (NZST). Due to Covid-19 Level 3 Restrictions now in place, attendance at Abby’s service will be by invite only. DYER, Sylvia Jean (nee McLeay):
25:08:1929 – 09:08:2020, Sylvia passed peacefully in Dunedin with John and Jill – aged 90 years. Cherished wife of the late Graham. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Jane,
Jill and the late Steve Ridden. Special Nana Sylvie of Anna Dyer, Scott, Karla and Alexandra Hughes, Callum, Louisa, Isabella, and Imogen Hughes, Nicki, Gavin, Harlow and Verity Angus, Briget and Trevor Prescott. Loved sister and sister-in-law of *Murdie and *Chrissie McLeay, *Pearl and *Ron Sleeman and *Jack Forbes, *Lochie and *Effie McLeay, *Ray and *Neville Lindsay, Joan and *George Moorhouse and *Harold Poole, *Heather and *Noel Lee, Shirley and John Brown. Jocelyn and *Allan Blair, Russell and Dianne Dyer, Barry and Margaret Dyer. A loved auntie of her nieces and nephews. A friend to many. GRAHAM, John McKendrick:
81 years old of Grove Bush, formally Dacre and Scotland. Passed away 9-8-2020 at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village. Husband of Una Graham (nee Cuttance). Father to Debora, Andrea, Margaret, Ian, Jim, Kath, Fiona, Bernadine, John, Veronica, Kieran. Grandad to Gavin, Peter, Logan, Callum, George, Natasha, Simone, Daniel, Patrick, Annie, Arnie, Tavish, Charlotte, Laughlan, Paige, Claudia, Theo, Autumn-Rose, Toby, William, Emily, Nathaniel, Keoghan, Olivia, Elias, Ezekiel. Great Grandad to Noah, Heidi, Ragnor, Scarlett, Arlo and Louis. A Memorial service will be held in St Mary’s Basilica Catholic Church, Tyne Street, Invercargill on Wednesday 12 August at 11am. PASCO, Maire. (née Hardy):
On 6 August 2020, in her 90th year. Loved wife of Jack. Treasured mother of Brenda, Mark, Stephen, Leon, Julie. Adored grandmother and great-grandmother. Cherished sister of Pat Hardy and Molly O’Neill. R.I.P. A service will be held at J Fraser & Sons’ Chapel, Esk St, Invercargill at 1.00 pm on Saturday 15 August 2020. Messages to 60 Inglewood Rd, Invercargill 9810. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the service to Maire’s favourite charity – the Pacific Leprosy Foundation.

RAMSAY, James (Jim):
Passed away on August 6, 2020 at his home in Kinloch, Taupo, surrounded by his loving family. Loved husband of Margaret Ramsay (Kinloch), and father to Adam (Tauranga), and Gary. Father-in-law to Penelope (Dunedin), and much loved grandfather of Oliver and Rebecca (Dunedin). Son of the late George and Euphemia Ramsay, and brother to the late George and John Ramsay. Brother-in law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many from around New Zealand and the world. A service for Jim will be held at The Founders Chapel of Remembrance, 117 Rickit Street, Taupo, on Wednesday, August 12 at 11.00am, all welcome. If you are unable to attend the service can be viewed live from the Taupo Funeral Services website http://www.taupofuneral.co.nz/livestreamwebcast. While any gifts or flowers will be gratefully accepted we would ask that you instead make a donation in Jim’s name to one of the following charitable organisations: The Cancer Society or Hospice New Zealand – two organisations that did so much for him and the family over the last year.
