Peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Southland Hospital; aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Isabel for a wonderful 60 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Simon, David and Lou, and Graham and Di, a dearly loved grandad of Jo and Flynn, Matt and Alice, Emma and Jon, and Tenielle, much loved brother of Helen and the late Thelma, and a loved uncle. A service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, March 12 at 11.00am, interment will follow at the Otautau Cemetery arriving approx 2.30pm. ROBBIE, James Rutherford (Jim):
Peacefully at Lakes District Hospital, Frankton, surrounded by his family on March 8, 2020, in his 81st year. Woodworker of Alexandra, Arrowtown and Centre Bush. Loved Dad and father-in-law of Jill and Scott Sisson, Kate and Geoff Stephens, Nan and Rod Sinclair and Ben and Rosie Thompson, treasured Poppa Jim of Meg, Bryn and Connor, Jenna, Rory and Sophie and Sam and Jack. Loved brother and brother-in-law of *Bill and *Betty, *Gordon and Margaret, *Ralph and *Allison, *Dorothy and *Bruce Hamilton, *Tom and *Mhari and *Don and *Blair. WILLIAMS, Elizabeth Mary (Betty):
Passed away at Parata Resthome, Gore, on Saturday, March 7, 2020; aged 98 years. Wife of the late Herbert Morgan Williams. Beloved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Morgan and Barbara (Galloway), Richard (dec) and Yvonne Williams-Brick and Patrick Brick (Gore), Judith and John Hancock (Perth), Owen and Raewyn (Lake Hayes), John and Jules (Mosgiel). A treasured Nana to 15 grandchildren, and Nana Betty to 21 great-grandchildren. Requiem Mass for Betty will be celebrated in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, at 11.30am on Thursday, March 12, followed by burial at the Gore Cemetery. Rosary will be held in the Church at 6.30pm on Wednesday, March 11. Garden flowers only, or donations to Parata Resthome would be appreciated and may be left at the Church.
