Peacefully surrounded by his family, at Cromwell, on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, one day short of his 76th birthday. Devoted husband of Shirley for 55 years, amazing father and father-in-law of Mark and Tania (Winton), Jason and Sonia (Winton), Nicola and Steven (Cromwell/Gore), and cherished grandfather of Nicole and Hamish, Miles, Flynn, Austin, Hunter, Amber, Grace and Martin, and great-grandad of Murphy. A celebration of Martin’s life will be held at Cromwell Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth Street, Cromwell, on Saturday, January 8, at 2.00pm. Vaccine passes required. DUMBLE, Garrick Albert: QSM
Peacefully after a short illness, at Strathallan Lifecare on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, aged 93 years. Much loved and devoted husband of Myrtle Eileen, and previously the late Daphne. Loving father of Jacqui, Mark, and Roy, stepfather to Gail (deceased), Diane, Ronda, and their wider families. A service to celebrate Garrick’s life will be held at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street, Timaru, on Saturday, January 8, at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at the Timaru Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society Timaru would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Vaccine passes will be needed to attend both the service and burial. DUNCAN Christine Ruth (nee Gray):
Suddenly at home on 3 January 2021. Aged 63 Years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Bruce Much loved mother and mother in law of Emma* and Leonard Bagley, Alan and Suzanne. Loving and Proud Nanny of Eva, Flynn and Gray. Cherished only daughter of Stan and Joyce Gray. Loved sister and sister in law of Donald and Marie Gray, Calder and Heather Gray and her extended family. The funeral service for Christine will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon St Invercargill on Saturday January 8 2022 commencing at 10.30am. A private cremation will follow. Christine’s service will also be available via live-stream at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes where personal tributes may also be left.

WINDLE, Kevin John:
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at Rowena Jackson in Invercargill. Kevin was the dearly loved partner of the late Joyce McKay, brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Ray (Invercargill), father and father-in-law of the late Jackie and her husband Pete (Cromwell), Nicola and John (Auckland), and Maurice (Napier). He was a cherished poppa and granddad of Hannah, Coby, Riley, Tanner, and Carter, a dearly loved uncle of Michael, Veronica, Brendan, Damian, and their families, a treasured friend to Joyce’s family, and a dear neighbour.
