Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Wednesday, 4th May 2022, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Sam. Much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Raymond* and Jill, Peter, Dennis and Shirley, Stuart and Kim, Wayne and Jocelyn, Sue, and Jenny. Adored Nana/Gran of Blair, Tracey, Donna, Carl, Michelle, Bradley, Kelly, Christopher, Jamie, Ashley, Phillipa*, James, Richard and loved by all her Great Grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late James and Alice Miller and sister of Alan* and Gwen* Miller and Lynette Jarvis and stepsister of Terry* and Maureen Butt.
A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday, 7th May at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Meals on Wheels would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
