Peacefully, age 90. Loved wife of the late Leonard James Down. Beloved mother of Kevin and Lynne, Jenny and John Richardson, Mavis and Jamie. Dearly loved Grandma of her six grandchildren, and Great-Gran of seven. Special thanks to the caring staff at Peacehaven. A memorial service for Ethel will be held in Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Thursday 4 July at 1:30pm. Bob passed away peacefully at Peacehaven on Wednesday July 3 2019 at the age of 96, surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of the late Avis, much loved father and father-in-law of Mervyn and Jill, Carey and Neville Corkery, Blair (Fred) and Alena, Rod and Robyn, and the late Elwyn. Loved Bob Bob of Morgan, Josh, Sam, Natalie, Ana, Mark, Danielle, Sean, Jeremy, Jared, and Jeana. A loved Great Grandbob of his great grandchildren. On Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Wanaka, aged 66 years. Dearly loved husband, best friend and soulmate of Carol. Dearly loved father of Edwina. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Lesley and Jim, Wendy and Mike, Campbell and Kay. Also most awesome uncle to all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. We wish to acknowledge Sean Costello and the Oncology Unit for the outstanding care they provided for Ed over the years.
