TOU, Janice Clare (nee King):
It is with immense sadness we inform family and friends, our beautiful, loving Mum, Nana and Great-Nana passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Calvary Hospital. Much loved Mum and mother-in law of Lisa and Andrew, Michael and Sharon, and Melanie. Cherished Nana of Chantelle and Daniel, Sam and Kyla (Australia), Brodie and Eve, Jesse and Jessica (Australia), Breeanna, Finlay and Kate. Loving Great-Nana of Declan and Marius who kept the twinkle in her eyes. Special bond with her Australian family Vicki, Simone, Renee, Tania, and Matthew. Thanks to the staff at Calvary Hospital for the attentive care and kindness they showed Mum during her time there.

A farewell service for our Mum, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, 10.30am at Eastside Baptist Church, cnr Yarrow St and Glengarry Cres, Invercargill. COVID restrictions will apply. A vaccine pass will be required, and we are limited to 100 people. We encourage you to wear colour to celebrate her vibrancy. WILSON, Joanne (Jo) (née Prest):
Peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Hospice Southland. Much loved wife and soulmate of Riki. Precious Mum to Billie-Marie and Devon. Loved daughter of Billy and Dianne (Bunbury WA). Loved sister of Tracey and Linda. Much loved auntie of Maxx, Jack and Ruby, Haley and Jarrod. Precious granddaughter of Nana and Pop Martin, and her many aunties and uncles and cousins. Great friend of Trudy. Heartfelt thanks to all the team at Southland and Dunedin Hospitals. Special thanks to the wonderful team at Hospice Southland. No flowers please, however donations toward Jo’s flowering cherry tree lined driveway, in her memory, would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. The Service for Jo will be held at J Fraser and Sons, Cnr Esk and Doon Sts, Invercargill, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, commencing at 2.00pm. Those attending are invited to bring a flower, photo or small memento to place on her casket as a tribute. Due to Covid restrictions attendance at Jo’s funeral is limited to 100 and vaccine passes will be required.
