Peacefully at Vickery Court, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019; in her 88th year. Dearly loved wife of the late John Beattie (Nightcaps). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Donny and the late Sherrie McRae (Nightcaps), Ian and the late Linda Shefford (Te Anau), Maree (Invercargill), Robyn and Owen Dixon (Invercargill), Sonny and Leeann (Christchurch), Terry and Liz (Invercargill), Cindy (Invercargill), Corrie (Christchurch). Of Otatara, Clyde and Wanaka. It is with great sadness that we inform you that Mel passed on Monday, April 29, 2019, aged 31. Cherished daughter of Mark and Andrea, adored, one of a kind sister and sister-in-law of Jena and Matt Brierley, loved granddaughter of Jack and the late Caryl Churchill, and Jean and the late Lex McKenzie, treasured niece to her aunties and uncles, and cousin. A special friend and teacher of Wanaka Pre-school, and good friend of Jim Scott. In lieu of flowers a donation may be left at Mel’s service for ‘I Am Hope’. Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 28, 2019, in her 94th year. Devoted wife of the late Lloyd Douglas Munro. Dearly loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Grant, Jeffrey and Robyn, Julianne, Hildamae, and Virginia. Adored Grandma to Rhem and Janelle, Leanne, Chantelle and Tim, Brendon and Kate, Rochelle and Dennis, Josephine and Jason, Catriona and Richie, Genevieve and Michael, Ben, and Gus. Great-Grandma to Isaac, Isla, Joshua, Samuel, Olivia, Aliyah, Jackson, and Marlayna. She treasured her sister and brother-in-law Janette and Bryan, and her late brothers and sister-in-law, Alan and Molly, Keith and Graeme, and her nieces and nephews. Every person she met was precious to her.
Our mother was a “good and faithful servant”, unwavering in her devotion to the Lord.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2019, in her 94th year. Loved wife of the late Clifford Sheat, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Wayne and Jenny, and grandmother to Alice and Adrian and their partners, Alister and Megan. Cherished great-nana of Ruby, Joel and Arthur. Sister to the late Jack, Richard, Ron, Jean, and Daph, and a special aunty to their families.
