Peacefully surrounded by family at Peacehaven Village, on Tuesday, May 31, 2022; aged 87. Loved husband of the late Lorna. Loved father and father-in-law of Normand and Sue, Alister, Bronwyn and Dave, Brenden and Sarah, Randall and Pauline. EGERTON, Donald McKay:
Donald passed away peacefully in the care of his family on Wednesday 1 June 2022. Dearly loved husband of Dawn and father and father-in-law of Lindsay (Sid) & Pip, Graeme (Pockets) and Christine, Jo-Anne (Chick) and Karl Harris, the late Russell John and godfather to Nicola Plunkett. Loved Grandad of Tim, Jack, Holly, Ryan, Bryce, and Courtney, Loved Great Grandad to Beau, Blake, Atlas, and Arrow. Loved only brother and brother-in-law of Tony and Jenny and Uncle of Eamon, and Kieran. Donald’s funeral will be held in the Waiau Town and Country Club, Tuatapere on Saturday 4 June at 2pm, then travelling to the Tuatapere Cemetery where he will join Russell John. In lieu of flowers donations to the Southland Charity Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
