BROWN, Joan Catherine. Passed away peacefully at Resthaven Village, Gore, on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Loved adopted daughter of Duncan* and Ruth Brown*, foster sister of Patricia and Eric, Charlie and Lorna. Maternal daughter of William* and Ivy Clarke*, loved sister of Grace and Mervyn*, Noel* and Doreen, Phyllis and Keith, Mike and Pat*, Alexander*, Donald and Jackie*, Trevor and Merlyn, Brenda and Gavin. A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held in St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 2 Devon Street, Gore, on Friday, November 30, at 1.30pm, private cremation to follow. GIBB, Geoffrey Vincent. 13.11.1962 – 27.11.2018 A very special man who left us too soon after a very short retirement which he enjoyed to the fullest. A soulmate and much loved partner of Vicki. The best stepdad to Aaron, Aimee, Justin and their partners Karina, Duncan and Amy. Poppa Geoff to Oliver, Benjamin and baby bump. Treasured son of Win and the late Brian, a very special brother to Michelle, Berni, Steph, Julie and Chris, and an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. The siblings wish to thank his family and all who supported him through his journey. Special thanks to the medical staff and hospice for the supportive care during this trying time. A celebration of Geoff’s life will be held at Moutere Hills Cemetery, Gardner Valley Road, Upper Moutere, on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 1.00pm. “Gone fishing”
LENNON, Taika Theodore. Passed away suddenly at Christchurch Hospital, with Shelly by his side. Loved son of the late Marjorie (nee TeAu) and Bert Lennon. Loved brother of Alma, Ann, Alan (all deceased), Bruce (Kaiapoi), Shelly Hesson and brother-in-law of Archie Byron (Christchurch). Dearly loved uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Taika will be resting at home, 27 Digby Place, Bromley.
