BRENSSELL, Charles Henry (Charlie):
Peacefully at Burwood Hospital, Christchurch, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in his 89th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Elaine, loving father of Doug, Donna, Graeme and Malcolm, respected father-in-law of John and Rosalind, dearly loved by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a loved brother of Betty and Lynette. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Charlie Brenssell, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Association would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. Due to current restrictions on large gatherings, there is a limit of 100 attendees. HORRELL, Janice Gay (nee Murphy):
Aged 84 years. Passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Resthaven, Gore. Loved wife and best friend of the late Mait Horrell for 62 years. Cherished and loved mum and mother-in-law of Elaine and Paul Eaton (Balfour), Jenny and Brian Mahon (Riversdale), Julie-Anne and Chris Black (Gore). Loved Nana of Derek, Sarah, Kerry, Wendy, Brent, Joanne, Kayla, Michael and Ethan. A service to celebrate Janice’s life will be held in the Gore Town and Country Club, Esplin Room, on Friday, January 28, for family and friends, by invitation only. Vaccine passports required.
