Of Alexandra, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, aged 90. Devoted husband and companion for 63 years of Mavis, loved father and father-in-law of Linda and Greg McLean (Clyde); Catherine and Richard (Nelson); Raewyn (Gert) and Lester (Alexandra); Paula and Rocky Rouxel (Alexandra); and Blair and Yuyee (Dunedin). Adored Grandad and Grandpa of Regan, Vanessa, and Stacey; Angela, Brodie and Caleb; Colleen; Daniel and Amber; Thomas, Cody, Tobyn, Lochlan and Finn. A loved great-grandad to all of his great-grandchildren. A celebration of Alan’s life will be held at Affinity Funeral Home, 143A Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, on Saturday, March 26, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Peacefully and surrounded by love, after a long illness, in Brisbane, Australia. Cherished mother of Amanda and Adrian, Jackie and Jeremy, John and Kelly, Heidi and Craig, Daniel and Camelia. Passed away peacefully at The Oaks Care Centre and Village on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Loved wife of the late Peter, and much loved and respected ‘Mum’ and mother-in-law of David (Christchurch), Yvonne and George (Tasman), Stephen and Olivia (Uganda), Richard and Claire (Christchurch).
