BIRSE, Christine Ann (nee Redhead). Peacefully, at Dunedin Hospital on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Loved mother of Luke and Roxanne, Juanita and Jamie, Luana and Adam, Teresa and Daniel and nana to all her grandchildren. Loved sister, auntie and friend to many. A service to celebrate Christine’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10.00am. Private cremation to follow. HASLEMORE, Colin Norman. Suddenly, at Longwood Care Home. Colin passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Loving husband of the late Nora, beloved father and father-in-law of Marilyn and Brian Colyer, Lorraine and Richard Harrison, Keith and Jan Haslemore, Stephen and Faith Haslemore, dearly loved granddad of all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Loved brother of the late Girlie, Alister, Noel, Joan, Francis, and Mona. Special thanks to the Longwood Resthome for all their care, and to the Riverton Fire Brigade and St John Ambulance for their attendance to Dad. EUNSON, Stuart Charles (Digger). JP, QSM On Monday, September 17, 2018, at Southland Hospital, aged 86 years. Loved husband of the late Betty and the late Vera. Loved Dad and father-in-law of Joyce and Sam Greer (Ranfurly), Ian and Rachael (Invercargill), Lindsay and Annette (Wyndham), Anne and Ewan Kirk (Ranfurly), loved Grandad to his 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Margaret and the late Graham Eunson (Timaru), Malcolm and Alison (Dunedin). Many thanks to the staff of Southland Hospital and the Wyndham Community Rest Home for their care of Digger in recent weeks. A service to celebrate Digger’s life will be held in the Wyndham Memorial Hall on Friday, September 21, at 2.00pm. Private interment. Loved Nan Nan of all her Grandchilden and Great Grandchilden. At Mary’s request a private Requiem Mass will be held for her extended family and close friends of Mary will be held in the St. Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street on Wednesday, 19th September at 2:00pm, the service will conclude with a private interment.
