Peacefully at home, on Monday, January 17, 2022. Much loved and adored husband of Jude. Very much loved dad of Kirsty, and Ryan, father-in-law of Arthur, and devoted grandad of Ollie, Sophie, Isaac, and Lachlan. Thank you to the staff of the Medical and AT and R wards of Timaru Hospital. Special thanks to Dr Anton Van den Bergh and Dr Stan Smith for all your wonderful care of Doug. A service celebrating the life of Doug will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to to Motor Neurone Disease Assn would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service.The family have chosen unlimited attendees, therefore Vaccination Passes will be required.
