COOKE, Joan Barbara McKay (nee McLeod):
Passed away peacefully at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in her 91st year. Treasured mother of Robert and Kay, Jenny and Andy, Margaret and Roland, David and Carolyn, and Barbara, and much loved Granny to her 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family are extremely grateful for the love and support provided to Joan by all the staff at Windsor Park.
“Joan welcomed everybody with a hug.”
A service for Joan will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Friday, October 14, at 11.00am. Graveside committal at Queenstown Cemetery, Brecon Street, on Saturday, October 15, at 10.00am.

Avis, Allan, Neville, Robyn, Lindsay and families warmly invite you to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate Joseph’s life which will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Friday, 14 th October at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
