RANDALL, Michael John. 1938 – 2018
Died peacefully on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Rata Park Rest Home, Winton, after a long struggle. Mike leaves his wife Rachel, her family, and his children Cat and George, as well as 11 grandchildren. Mike joins his daughters Diana and Caroline.
Loved by many, we will miss you dearly.
A service will be held on Friday, October 12, 1.00pm, at Rata Park Rest Home,

GORTON, John Lewis. 03.09.1933 – 08.10.2018 John slipped away peacefully in the early hours of Monday morning at Southland Hospital. Much loved husband of the late Joan, father of Alison, and John, the late Wendy, and Christine. Dearly loved grandfather of Danielle, Stephanie, Jason and Toni. Deep appreciation to the wonderful staff on surgical ward for looking after John and keeping him comfortable in his final days. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox St, Invercargill, on Friday, October 12, at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. SHANKS, Michael (Mick). Peacefully after a battle with dementia, in the wonderful care of Peacehaven, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Dearly cherished husband of Raylene, loved and respected stepfather and grandad Mick of Katherine, Bruce, Georgia, Jackson and Tessa Ryder; Melissa, Brendon, Sophie and Charlotte McLellan (all of Dunedin); and Liz, Mario and Eva Shlimon (Wellington).
