Loved sister and sister-in-law of Bob and Ina McNeill, John and Alison McNeill, Lynley and Mike Barnett, and Olive McCall. A much loved Aunt and Cousin. Treasured niece of Jean Winning. A service to celebrate Claire’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, at 10.30am, on Saturday December 12. Private thereafter. LAVERTY, Robert James:
Peacefully at Hospice Southland with his family and amazing staff by his side on Tuesday, 8th December 2020, aged 39 years. Loved son of Suzanne Mills and Neil Laverty. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jason and Jessica, loved uncle of Lachlan, Keenan, and Paityn. A loved nephew of Colin Cleland and a loved brother, uncle and nephew of his extended family. A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Friday, 11th December at 1:00 pm. A private interment will follow. Unexpectedly at home on December 4, 2020. Loved husband of the late Moira. Father of Graeme and Leigh; stepfather of Rachel and Leaha. Grandad to Cassie, Alannah; Cameron, Abby, Katie; Jade, Harlin, Gena, Alayna; and Molly. Loved brother of Janice, Murray, and Kathleen. No flowers by request. A service to celebrate Athol’s life will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington, on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Windsor Park Care Home, aged 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Hillis, loved mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and the late Les (Dunedin), and the late Stuart, much loved Grandma of Jeremy and Kushla, Dan and Kylie, Jenna and Sam, and loved Great-Grandma of Archie, Arthur and Oaklie. A service to celebrate Ngaire’s life will be held in St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Friday, December 11, at 10.30am, then leaving for Charlton Park Cemetery.
