Alana Riwiti Lockhorst was born on 31 January 1983 and passed on 06 July 2022.
The beloved daughter of Tom Kingi & Jane Ballantyne, Soulmate to Kieran (Chee) Turuwhenua, Sister of Jason, Toni, Sarah & Marcus, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, and Niece to Hundreds, and of course adored mother of her beautiful Son Ārana.
Alana will be at Nga Hau E Wha Marae until she is taken on a journey to celebrate her life. 26.9.1986 – 5.7.2022 With great sadness Kez, Sathera, and Benson wish to announce, after ten long months of fighting, Brenden peacefully passed away. He fought a hard battle, on his own terms, and never gave up right until the end. Late of Gore, Timaru and Owaka. Bessie passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022 at Holmdene Rest Home, Balclutha, in her 99th year. She was the dearly loved wife of the late Ray Waddell, and a much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Glenda and Chris Landreth (Owaka), and Lynn Craig and Ken Young (Orbost, Australia). Bessie was a devoted Grandma and Granny Bess to Matt and Hedda Landreth and the late Eliana (Wellington), Sam and Rachael Landreth, Cooper, Brooklyn, and Mitchell (Owaka), Tim and Debbie Landreth, Joshua, Olivia and Sienna (Wyndham), Katie and Sacha Mobarak, Xavier and Max (New York), and Dan Craig and Disu Liang, Li Lian and Lia (Canberra).
