BRUN, Denise Bailey M.A. (formerly Olds, née Shelton):
Died January 1, 2021, at Elmslie House, Wanaka, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Dr Bill Olds (Lumsden), and the late John Brun (Alexandra), loved daughter of the late Wilfred and ‘Tuppy’ Shelton, and sister of Jill Shelton (Gore). Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Bill and Chris Olds, Rose and the late Stuart Thom, Penny Olds and Richard Winter, Liz and Bernie Cooper. Loved step-mother and mother-in-law of Donna and Kevin Driscoll, Karen and Terry Wilkins, Tony and Jo Brun. Much loved grandmother of Will, Celia, and Alice Olds; Jon, and Josh Thom; Emily, and Tom Winter; Sam, Lucy, and Toby Cooper, their partners and her great-grandchildren. Loved Nana Denise of Nadia, Laura, Brendon, Marie, Theresa, Sally, Ruth, Chris, and Andy. A Memorial service will be held later. Date to be notified. CONLEY, Rita Elizabeth (Fleck):
Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Wednesday 6 th January 2021, Aged 95 years. A cherished wife of James* Fleck and Raymond* Conley. Special friend of Stanley* Baldwin. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Brian and Lynley (Wallacetown), Neil and Dianne (Christchurch), Lorraine and Kevin (Melbourne), Valerie (Invercargill), Trevor (Temuka) and Jenny and Johnny (Ranfurly). Loved grandmother of her 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Loved by her extended family and friends. A service to celebrate Rita’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill, on Monday 11 th January at 1pm. It is with great sadness that we wish to acknowledge the passing of Rita at Southland Hospital on Wednesday 06 January 2021. Dearly loved eldest daughter of the late Albert and Alice Stevens and sister and sister-in-law of Irene & Rueben* Parr, Greta* & Joe* Setters, Jean & Cliff Walker, Elsie & Gordon* Hall, Edith* & Noel* Mahon and Ted & Anne Stevens. Also treasured Aunt of all her nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by all.

Unexpectedly in London on December 30, 2020. Dearly loved partner of Carlos Chirinos-Rojas. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Robert and Stephanie, Sheena and George Marshall, Fergus and Bronwyn, and loved uncle of Joanna, Caroline, Lorraine, Margot, Kirsty, Anna, Brooke and Hannah. A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held on Saturday, February 13, at 1.30pm at the Function Room at the Tai Tapu Hotel. On December 30, 2020 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 85 years. Loved wife of the late Viv, and mother, grandmother and friend of Joy and Paul, and Craig, Claire, Mark and Kemmey. Also much loved by her many nieces, nephews and friends. A private funeral was held for Coral at Hampden Cemetery. Sharon, Francesca, Anthony and Darian sadly wish to advise that on the last day of 2020 our darling husband, dad, grandad and best buddy of Cruz, slipped away to be reunited with Nathan. As requested, Noel has been cremated and his ashes will be scattered later in 2021 when family can come together.
