ANDERSON, Beryl Ann:
After a short illness, passed away in Dunedin Hospital on Thursday 5 May 2022, four days short of her 82nd birthday. Loved wife of Dave, much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Mike and Dendra, Sue and Carl van Schreven, and the late Pete, loved Nana of Gabrielle, Ben, Daniel, also Nana to Hannah, Destiny, and Paul. A loved sister, aunty and friend. “Now with Jesus” A service to celebrate Beryl’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday 11 May at 11.00am. BAIRD, Kenneth Alistair (Casey):
Suddenly at his home in Otautau. Dearly loved son of the late Kenneth and Ruby. Loved brother of the late Geoffrey. A private cremation has been held, an interment of his ashes and memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Otautau Cemetery commencing at 3.00pm. BENNETT, Eileen Georgina:
Passed away peacefully on April 27, 2022, in her 98th year, at Longwood Care Home, Riverton. Beloved wife of the late Francis (Pat) Bennett, and loved mother of the late Mervyn (Brisbane). A loved grandmother of Anne-Marie, Craig and Mark Bennett (all of Brisbane). Beloved sister of Nellie*and Vernon* Branks, Anne* and Bob* Browning, Alma* and Keith* Butler, Sylvia (Longwood) and Keith* Dillon, Les* and Shirley* Kelly, Myra* and Jim* Carter, and Hilda* and Bruce McCorkindale (Rangiora). A much loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews and a special friend of Jenny Hewitt (Balfour). Special thanks to all the staff at Longwood for their loving care of Eileen over the past 18 months. Passed away peacefully on 3 May 2022, aged 91 years, in the presence of her family, in the care of Calvary Rest Home and Hospital. Loved wife of the late Bill France. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Anne-Marie and Ralph, Ray, Rose and Rob, Mary and the late Stephen, Susan, Roy and Kathryn, John and Michele, Loretta, Daryl and the late Bernadette, Rachel and Tom. NEILSON, Neil Davis:
Passed away on Tuesday 3rd May 2022, in his 88th year. Loved and cherished husband of Irene for 44 years. Devoted father to Paul (Australia) and Jodi (Invercargill). A big thank you to PGG Wrightson for the guard of honour and those involved with the preparation for the service. Also, those who helped with the Covid regulations on the day. A special thank you to all involved with Darrell’s medical care at Dunedin and Christchurch Hospitals. The care he received at Dunedin and the Bone Marrow Transplant ward Christchurch was exceptional and the support of The Bone Marrow Cancer Trust at Ranui House accommodation while in Christchurch.
