4 February 1975 – 5 August 2022.
Loved wife and soulmate of Iain. A loved mother, mother in law and Nana of Jamie and Jasmine, Michaela and Ash; and Miss Harper. Loved sister of Kerry, Michelle, Joanne and Fiona. All the family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to all the medical staff and hospice staff for their care of Nicky since the 27th of May. COBELDICK, Mary Patricia (nee Ward):
Passed away peacefully in her 91st year, July 30, 2022. Loved wife of the late Frank. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Theresa and Gordon, Peter and Marianne, Ann and Jim, Christopher and Connie. Treasured grandma to her 16 grandchildren and their partners, and 25 great-grandchildren. Messages to PO Box 7103, Nelson 7020. FAIRWEATHER, Roger Cyril:
10.06.1952 – 16.07.2022
Jan, Jeremy, Kelly, Tim, and families wish to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone who sent flowers, cards, food, phone calls, messages and attending the funeral on the passing of Roger. We were humbled by the amount of overwhelming support and kindness that we received. Died peacefully among family on 3 August 2022, in her 83rd year. Adored wife of the late Graeme; Mum of Pam and Nick, Jude and John, Keith and Thelma, Garry and Linda; Gran of Monique, Alana, Oliver, Stacey, Sophia, Katelyn, Samantha, Janine, Sam, Kristen, Mathew, and Rachel. Great Gran of James, Ashton, Mackenzie, Riley, Luka, and Poppy. A warm, welcoming, immensely hardworking, kind and loving woman, cherished by us all. Passed away suddenly with family by his side, at Longwood Care Home, Riverton, on Wednesday 3rd August 2022. Aged 70 years. Peacefully in the care of Hospice Southland, on Friday 5 August 2022. Dearly loved wife of Doug*. Loved mother and mother-in-law of John, Lisa, and Donna and Tony. KEPPEL, Peter Anthony:
Peacefully passed away on July 28, 2022, in Christchurch after a long illness. Dearly loved husband for 55 years to Lesley. Cherished Father and father-in law of Justine and Tony Caunce; Aaron and Michelle; Megan and Alan Scott. Adored Grandad of Alex and Emily; Hannah and Hayden; Josh and Meg; Sam and Nina. A beloved Uncle and friend to many. In line with Peter’s wishes his body has been donated to Otago Medical School. The Family would like to thank all those who provided wonderful care over the last 10 months for Peter.
He will be sadly missed.

Passed away suddenly as a result of an accident, on August 1, 2022, aged 58. LLOYD, Shane Charles:
Drove into eternal life on the 3 rd of August 2022 in his home town of Invercargill. Shane was a much-loved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and cherished friend to Fraser Tibble Wainui, Teiani, Haami and many more. Above all else he was a devoted father to Tarryn, Bodene, Reannon, Regan, Roy, Izzak, Jake, and grandfather to Nixon, Reidyn, Ngaru, Izaiah, and Puku.

LOMIA, Ana:
Ana passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on Thursday, July 28, 2022, aged 82. Loved daughter of the late Jimmy Sasauli Von-Koppel and Luisa Lagilagi. Beloved wife of the late Kaisala Lomia. Much loved mother of Numi, Ueta and Sefo, Daniel, Lei, Asofitu, Simi, Taoipu. Devoted grandmother of Kaisala, Simi, Luisa, Leana, Suluana, Paige, Zion, Tuiga, Kaisala and VJ. In accordance with mum’s wishes a private family service was held on Monday, August 1. We honored mum by giving the EFKS church their farewell on Sunday night. We would like to thank Clare House staff, J Fraser and Sons, Reverend Lole Fiso and his good lady Kahealani Fiso for their support, compassion and kindness.

PARR, Irene Alice (nee Stevens):
On 31 July 2022, peacefully with family in Christchurch, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Reuben. Much loved mother of James (Invercargill), David (Rotorua), Joss Bradley (Brightwater), Maree Parr and Tom Steele (Christchurch) and the late Barry. Loved Grandma of Reuben Bradley and Laila Sultan (Brisbane), Alice Steele (Christchurch), Emily Steele (Sydney), and Charlie Parr (Tauranga), and great-grandmother of Sami Sultan (Brisbane). On August 1st, 2022.  Wally passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Vickery Court Staff.  He was surrounded by family love and laughter in his last days. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Maureen, father and father-in-law of Joanne and Alan Kirker, Scott and Tracey Smith.  Cherished Grandad of Amanda and Aaron Henderson, Devan Kirker and Tiffany (Canada), Proud Great Grandad of Hamish and Hope. STEARNE, Allan Myles:
After a full and well lived life and a short illness, Allan flew free on Sunday 31 July 2022, aged 82 in the care of the compassionate staff at Hospice Southland. Dearly loved husband of Beverley, proud and loving dad and father-in-law of Claire & Stu, Michael & Jocelyn, the late David, and the late Phillip. Adoring grandad of Felix. Friend, brother, and brother-in-law of Marie & Bert Wohlers, Noel & Pat Stearne, Anne York, George & Jennifer Stearne, Annette Keach, and Gil & Bruce Berg. Loved and respected uncle to all his nieces and nephews and their families. In accordance with Allan’s wishes, a private cremation has been held. TOOMEY, Brian Joseph:
Shirley and her extended family would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to them during Brian’s illness and after his passing. Thank you to all his hospital carers both here and in Dunedin, especially the District Nurses and Dr Adams. To Bishop Michael Dooley and Father Tony Harrison for celebrating the mass for Brian’s life. To our wonderful friends and neighbours for the baking, cards and flowers. He has finished the race and we will miss him greatly. Thank you all.
