DODDS, Bryan George (Dodzee):
Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Dearly loved son of *George and *Shirley, brother and brother-in-law of Murray and Tracey, Jan and Robb, loved bestie of Bronny, Uncle of Mike, and Bells. A service to celebrate Dodzee’s life will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Tuesday, December 8, at 2.00pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery. GILSON, Kathleen Joy (Joy) (nee Field):
After a long struggle with cancer, Joy peacefully passed away at home “on the hill” in Bluff on Sunday, November 29, 2020, aged 86, surrounded by her loving family. Loved daughter of the late Tom and May Field. Adored soulmate and loving wife for 66 years of Ronald William Gilson and most loved and cherished mother, and mother-in-law of Vicky Young and Cindy and Peter Marshall. Devoted, proud and loved Nan of Kylie Young, Karyna Young and Ben Rowe (Raglan), andClay and Marina Young (Melbourne, Australia). Very proud Nanny Joy of her 5 Great-Grandchildren, Monty, Oscar, and Tommy Rowe, and Oliver, and Charlotte Young. As per Joy’s wishes, a private family farewell has been held. McCALL Eunice Helen (nee McDonald):
On Thursday 3 December 2020 at Southland Hospital, with her daughters by her side. Aged 86 years Dearly loved wife of the Owen McCall*. On December 1, 2020, Keith passed away peacefully; in his 92nd year. Loved husband of Phyllis, and the late Elza (nee Johnstone), loved father and father-in-law of Raewyn Turner*, Lexia* and James Hamilton, Judith Turner and Malcolm Soper, Joan and Simon de Ruyter, loved Grandad of Rachel and Daniel Wright, Hamish Hamilton and Nahee Kim, and Leila Hamilton; Shane Turner, Nicky Brewster and Bob Frazer, Ricky Soper* and Rachel Darling, Jason Soper and Zoe Smith; Carina and Graham Murdoch, Daniel de Ruyter and Niki Dee.
