Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson on Thursday, December 29, 2022, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Anne. HORE, Maureen Joyce (nee Wheeler):
Passed away peacefully, on December 29, 2022, at Dunedin Hospital , with family by her side; 81 years young. Loved wife of Ian and adored Mum and mother-in-law of Neville and Chrissie (Invercargill), David (Australia), Michael and Tracey (Invercargill), cherished Gran of Coral, Abel, Rose, Caitlin and Nicholas, and Great-Gran of her great-grandchildren in Australia. Thanks to the hospital staff of Ward 3B for their tender care. Special thanks to Dr Alan Mawhinney (Mosgiel Health Centre) and all her friends and family for their loving support. A service to celebrate Maureen’s life will be held at Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel, at 2.00pm, on Wednesday, January 4, followed by private cremation. Peacefully at Peacehaven Village, Invercargill on Saturday 24 December 2022; aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joyce. Loved father and father-in-law of Grant and Leeana, Brian and Gugulethu, and Wendy. A treasured grandfather and great-grandfather. Loved brother-in-law of the late John and Mary Grant, Hawkes Bay.
