The planned memorial get together for Ken which was to be in Te Anau on February 5, will not now be held. Due to Covid restrictions and risk of infection, the family have made this decision.

BARRETT, Jason:
On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, suddenly at home, in his 47th year. Dearly loved father of Jack, and Santaya, much loved son of Tony, and the late Chrissy, loved brother of Andrew, Rochelle, and the late Michelle, loved by all his nieces and nephews. GILMORE, James Andrew (Jim):
On Sunday, January 23, 2022, at home in the loving arms of his beloved wife and soulmate Geraldine. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Rebecca and Greg (Roxburgh), and Joshua and Melissa (Ashburton) and treasured Grandad of Jessica and Alex McMath, and Laurent Fifield. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of June* and Tom* Goom, Lorraine* and Henry* Gluyas, Jack* and Kath*, Colin* and Lois*, and Terry* and Kath. HASTIE, Margaret Anne:
Peacefully passed on January 25, 2022. Dearly and deeply loved sister to Gaynor; dearly and deeply loved mother to Sharon, Nicola, Melissa, and Susan; fun Grandmother to Izzy, Fred, Sophie, Meg, and Cate; gorgeous Aunt to Christopher, Suzanne, and Catherine. Gracious and kind friend to all who knew her. The family are extremely appreciative of the care given by the medical teams at Southland Hospital’s A&E, Medical and Rehabilitation wards, and the loving and caring team from Rowena Jackson Retirement Village. Margaret’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, at 10.00am at All Saints Anglican Church, 15 Hollywood Terrace, Invercargill. The family would appreciate donations to The Open Home Foundation, Invercargill, in lieu of flowers, please. Due to Covid Restrictions, all attendees must be double vaccinated and present their pass.
