Our beloved Gavin’s Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, at the Awatere Memorial Hall in Seddon, at 1.00pm, followed by refreshments directly after. In lieu of flowers, there will be a donation box for the Starship Foundation. The Dowling family would like to thank those who have given kindness, food, time and monetary support to Rosie, Harry, Digby and Olive. It has been so humbling to know that Gavin touched so many through his packed but short life.

Passed away peacefully on June 21, 2020, aged 86 years, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his children. Dearly loved husband of the late Jean, cherished dad to Jeanette and Bill, Stuart, Geoffrey and Leanne, and Laura and James. Treasured grandad to Mathew and Bridgette, Erin and Evie Bea, much loved great-grandad to Seth, Jack and Sadie. MORRIS, Susan Jane (nee Devine):

Sue passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, after a long journey, at Bethesda Hospice, Perth, Australia. Nature’s way of taking and giving back, as Sue nursed for a number of years at Bethesda. She was surrounded by her loving husband Wayne, Stephen and Charlotte, Adam and Ella. Loved youngest daughter of the late Alfred (Andy) and Cecilia Devine. Little sister to Diane and Richard Andersen (South Carolina), Gail and the late Les Mason (Melbourne), and Wade and Judi (Invercargill).
Sue will be sadly missed but never forgotten ……

Eric, along with the family, would like to sincerely thank everyone for their love and support shown to us all during our recent loss of Patricia. Thank you for all the flowers, messages and phone calls, meals and baking. Your overwhelming kindness and sympathy during this very difficult time was deeply appreciated. Grateful thanks also to the St John Ambulance staff and the nursing staff at Kew Hospital who took such wonderful care of Patricia during her final few hours. We greatly appreciated the effort many of you made to join us for Patricia’s funeral via the livestream, which was sadly the only option available to us at the time due to the Covid situation. Patricia is sadly missed by us all, but will live on in the hearts of each and everyone of us whose lives she touched. Please accept this as our personal and most sincere thanks to everyone who has, and continues to, support us during this difficult time.
