Mum slipped away peacefully on Monday, 19th December 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Graeme. Loved mother of Penny Boutherway and Franz Janssen & Bryan and Jackie Ryder. Loved Nana of Tahne, Latham, Ethan, Nina*, Kate, and Alexanda and Great Grandmother of all her Grandies. Loved sister of Ann Barron. In accordance with Mum’s wishes a private service has been held. Of Invercargill. Lady Di peacefully passed away Surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, aged 68. Loved daughter of the late James and Hilda Rutherford, Sister of Ritchie and the late Stella. Adored and Loved Mum and mother-in-law to the late Miriam, Clare and Laurie. Gan Gan to Jaime, Aaron and Chelsea. We would like to extend a special thank you to our friends and family who have supported Di over the past 18 months and to Dr Paula King (Fiordland Medical Centre) and Alison, Leigh and Bernie Mcatear (Southland District Nurse). In respect of Di’s wishes a service was held with close friends and family on Friday 23rd December, 2022 at J Fraser and Sons followed by private cremation. Mum passed away on the 16th December 2022 surrounded by the love of her family which meant so much to her. Dearly loved wife of the late Hunter for 56 years. HESSELIN, Alexander Reko (Mick): Passed peacefully after a brief illness at Hospice Southland, on Tuesday 20th December 2022, aged 86 years. Loved son of Fred and Nina Hesselin, Brother of Ian Hesselin, Don Hesselin, and little brother of Gloria McIntosh. (All deceased) Adored uncle Mick of his nieces, nephews, and their families. Passed away peacefully in Dunedin Hospital after a brief illness, on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Loved husband of Robyn for 52 years, cherished father of Ryan*, and Rebecca and father-in-law of Gareth, and proud “Cartie” to George. Loved brother of Sharon and brother-in-law of Alastair Macdonald and brother-in-law of Diane and Peter Quigley.
