Determined until the end, Maralyn fought courageously, she sadly passed away on August 16, 2022, at Mossbrae Healthcare; aged 66 years. Precious soulmate of Jeff, treasured and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Zana and Ross, and Quintin and Carly, very loved Nana of Cohen; Charlie, and Sadie, precious sister of Verna and the late Angus Wilson (Gore), Dorelle and the late Ian Johnstone (Invercargill), and Laraine and the late Gray Murphy (Invercargill). Maralyn was an artist, florist and landscaper. Thank you to the staff at Otago Community Hospice for their wonderful care and support. At Maralyn’s request a private service has been held. BLACKMUN, Kelly-Ann:
Peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Loved daughter of Lynette, Peter and Tracy and loved sister and sister-in-law of Tui and Richard Clucas, Malcolm and Cath, Naomi and Eric McDonald; Benita, Cameron, McKeller, and Keith. On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, peacefully at Radius Fulton Care, Dunedin; aged 81 years. Dearly loved son of the late Doug and Ebba, loved brother and brother-in-law of Bev and John Sim (Mosgiel), Ray and Glenda (Rangiora), loved Uncle of Kelvin and Krista, Darren and Jess, Jacqueline and Tim McCallion; Stacey Lavender, Megan Blagdon; and Great-Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Management; Nurses and Carers of Lisburn Wing for their care and support of Doug over the past 18 months. In accordance with Doug’s wishes a family cremation has been held. BLOMFIELD, David John (Dave):
Passed peacefully after a courageous battle, surrounded by family, on Sunday 14 August 2022, aged 67 years. Devoted husband of Linda. Loved Dad of Kelly, and Dayne, Step-father and Grandad to his family. Loved son of Bob* and Moya*, brother of Tony, Joanne, Michelle England, and Paul. Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A loved son-law, brother-in-law, and friend to many.
Dave will be missed by, but not spoilt Jay.

After suffering for some time, Dean passed away surrounded by family at Southland Hospital on 17 August 2022. Loved son of Carolyn and Lenny.
