BENNET Nareen Frances (nee Clifford):
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nareen on
Thursday 30 th December 2021, at Rowena Jackson, surrounded by her
loving family. Dearly loved and loving Wife of Jim, amazing Mother and
Mother-in-law of Anthony and Kazuyo, Michael and Anita, Kathryn and
Hamish. Loving Nanny and Great Nanny of Tye and Janine, Julie, Sophie,
Angus, Elliot, Seth and Dante. Loved Sister, Sister-in-law and best friend
of Carmel and Bill*, Mary and Allister, Elisabeth and Allan, Paul* and
Marlene. Much loved by all her nieces and nephews. RIP.
A service for Nareen will be held at St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Perth
Street, Invercargill on Tuesday 4 th January, 2022 at 2:00pm. A vaccine pass
will be required to attend the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to
Alzheimer’s Society Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the

LOW, Ross Alexander:
Born 25th November 1945, Bayswater farmer of Merino Downs, tinkerer of Gore and retiree of Invercargill. Passed peacefully on Friday 31st December 2021, under the superb care of the Southland Hospital Medical Ward team. Loved wife and best friend to Ruth, Adored dad to Geoff & Vikki (UK), Deb, and Warrick & Bron, Cherished Poppa to Kirsten, Ella, Emily and Grayson. Son to the late Alex and the late Katie, brother and brother-in-law to the late Helen, JD and Barb, Barb and Gordon, Ev and Ted, Mavis and Ross, Pauline and Geoff, Christine and Randall. “Always a gentleman, charmer, grafter and joker to all”. As per Ross’s wishes, a private cremation has been held but please join us for a Memorial service to be held on Wednesday 5th January 2022 at 2pm in the Lindisfarne Community Church, crn Lindisfarne and Miller Streets. A vaccine pass will be required to attend this service, please arrive early to allow time for this. Flowers from your gardens would be appreciated. (Ross loved roses).
