BAIRD, Joyce Gwendoline (nee Wilson).
26.01.1950 – 30.01.2020
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 30, 2020; aged 70. Daughter of the late Vera and late John Wilson (Winton). Dearly loved wife of Alan, and beloved mother of Sheryl, the late Craig, Luana, and Michelle, and mother-in-law of Mike, and Matt. Cherished Nana of Jacob, Zack, Hannah; Nikita, the late Jayden, Samantha, Shayla; and baby Ackroyd. Loved sister of Mervyn, Ian, Ngaire, Neil, Lindsay, and Russell. A treasured sister-in-law and aunt, a much valued colleague of the ICU team at Christchurch Hospital, and a precious friend to many. Our tremendous thanks to Nurse Maude for their level of care and dedication to Joyce throughout her courageous battle . Most dearly loved and loving husband of Joanne, and adored father, father-in-law and Grandad of Lyndon, Tina, Noah, Hedda and Sam, Jaron, Pip, Connor and Maddie. Adored Bruce John and Grandad Bruce of Annette, Mike, Braith, Daniel, Lisa, Casey and Cody, Rachel, Ana and Joe, and Mathew, and good friend to Donald, Daryl and Jeff.

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 30, 2020, aged 68. Dearly loved husband of Jill, and loved father of Jason and Coralie, and Jeremy and Janine, and devoted grandfather of James. A service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at the Tauranga Yacht Club, Sulphur Point, Tauranga, on Monday, February 3, at 1.00pm.

After a short illness, Rob passed away peacefully at Clare House. Loved husband of Glenys. Father and father-in-law of Joanna and Peter Simpson, Ian and Heather England. McKENZIE, Tony David.
(formerly of Arrowtown). Peacefully, at Dunedin Hospital on January 29, 2020, after a courageous cancer journey; aged 58 years young. Dearly loved husband, soulmate and best friend of Jan, treasured son-in-law of Margaret and the late Alan Dunbar, adored brother-in-law of Steve and Cindy Dunbar, Kev and Marie Dunbar, Sharon and Darren Gammie (Wellington), cherished uncle of Matt, Ruby, Amy, the late Rory, Callum, Lydia and Mario, Jessie and Ricky, Lucas and Kurt, precious great-uncle of Jackson, Lola, and Scarlett. Passed away peacefully after a bravely fought battle on Thursday, January 30th, 2020, aged 71. Dearly loved wife of Neil. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jonathan and Jodi (Wanaka), and Bradley and Aimee (Queenstown). Much loved Grandma of Jesse, Georgia, Harry and Lockie. Loved sister of Lesley, Bill and Robyn. Of Kaka Point. On January 30, 2020, Ron passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Otago Community Hospice, Dunedin; aged 84 years.
