BRADSHAW, TAARE HIKURANGI:
22 April 1941 – 17 November 2022
Sadly we announce the passing of our rangatira, Taare Hikurangi Bradshaw.   After a short illness, our Dad passed peacefully, in the arms of his whanau. Beloved eldest and only son of the late Norman and Ngawara Bradshaw (nee Kereti). Adored brother of Erenora*, Tamaku, Ngawara, Kataraina, Rena, Maria* and Huhana*. Darling partner of Rahera Muriwai Harmon. Dear friend of Janice Smith. Much loved father of Tuhimata, Robert, Huia, Reitini, Stefan and Melanie. Treasured and loved Koro, brother, uncle and cousin. Esteemed colleague and friend to many. We remember and cherish his love for whānau and whakapapa, his kindness toward others, his love of learning and teaching, his many creative endeavours and his fantastic storytelling skills. We will forever miss our dad, a kind, gentle, caring person. Taare will rest at his family marae Te Rau Aroha, Bradshaw Street, Bluff. His final mass service and interment will take place from 11am, Monday, 21 November 2022, followed with burial at Greenpoint Cemetery.

KING, Shirley Lois:
3.3.1950 – 16.11.2022
Suddenly on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. A loving mother and mother-in-law of Carmen and Peter. Adored grandmother of Stephen. A loved daughter of Les* and Flossie*. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Neil and Merle, Wayne and Erice, Lindsay, Alan* and Carole, Judith and Alasdair. A Graveside Service to farewell Shirley will be held at the Wallacetown Cemetery on Tuesday, November 22 at 11.00am. KING, Yvonne Christine:
1951 – 2022
Passed away peacefully in Dunedin Hospital after a short battle with cancer and many complications from the operations. Much loved Mum, Nana, and friend who will be dearly missed by all, but forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace. As per Yvonne’s wishes, a private service will be held. Bill’s family, Jan, Angela, Antony, and their families, wish to thank everyone so much for their love, care and support over the last years, months and weeks. Thank you to those who visited and took Bill for outings when he could no longer drive, and the ways you helped him in small tasks. To those who sent cards, visited or provided food or flowers, and to all those who attended the celebration of Bill’s life, we appreciate your care and support by being there for us. Thank you to the doctors and staff at the AT&R Ward at Southland Hospital – your care and support was very special during Bill’s time with you. To the Neurologists and Dr Doherty – we thank you for Bill’s care over 30 years of Parkinson’s Disease. Particularly we thank those who gave donations towards Parkinson’s Disease research.
