Sadly we announce the passing of our rangatira, Taare Hikurangi Bradshaw. After a short illness, our Dad passed peacefully, in the arms of his whanau. Beloved eldest and only son of the late Norman and Ngawara Bradshaw (nee Kereti). Adored brother of Erenora*, Tamaku, Ngawara, Kataraina, Rena, Maria* and Huhana*. Darling partner of Rahera Muriwai Harmon. Dear friend of Janice Smith. Much loved father of Tuhimata, Robert, Huia, Reitini, Stefan and Melanie. Treasured and loved Koro, brother, uncle and cousin. Esteemed colleague and friend to many. We remember and cherish his love for whānau and whakapapa, his kindness toward others, his love of learning and teaching, his many creative endeavours and his fantastic storytelling skills. We will forever miss our dad, a kind, gentle, caring person. Taare will rest at his family marae Te Rau Aroha, Bradshaw Street, Bluff. His final mass service and interment will take place from 11am, Monday, 21 November 2022, followed with burial at Greenpoint Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully in Dunedin Hospital after a short battle with cancer and many complications from the operations.
