EXCELL, Robin Norman Albert. On Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Peacehaven Village; aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, much loved father and father-in-law of Brian and Jackie, Mark and Edwina, Barry and Tara (all of Australia), Colleen and Stephen (Invercargill), loved Grandad of all his grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Beverley and the late Des Harpur (Te Anau), and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Walmsley House and Peacehaven for their love and support. A service for Robin will be held in Peacehaven Chapel, 498 Tweed Street, at 1.30pm on Thursday, January 24, followed by burial at the Eastern Cemetery. POOLE, Adrian Michael. Suddenly on January 12, 2019. Dearly loved son of Bert and the late Heather. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Fiona and Lindsay, Alan and Sue. A loved uncle of James, Sarah, Bayleigh, Kerry, and great-uncle of Devon. A private cremation service for Adrian has been held. Andrew, Julie, Lynley, Helen, Susan and families wish to sincerely thank everyone for the many gestures of kindness and support shown to us with your prayers, phone calls, cards, visits, food, flowers and messages of sympathy prior to, and after the loss of our much loved Wife, Mum, Mother-In-Law and Nana. Your thoughtfulness has been a great comfort to us. We would like to thank everyone who attended Eileen’s memorial service, including those who travelled such a long way to be there. Special thanks to Jeanette McIntyre for officiating at Mum’s service with such warmth and care. We truly appreciated you reading Mum’s life story for us. We sincerely thank Nigel and the team from Avenal Park Funeral Home for their respectful care of Mum. We very much appreciated your care, guidance and professionalism toward our families at this difficult time. Thank you for the attention to detail which created such a beautiful memorial service for Mum. You kids kept me alive,
For 20 years you put on a show,
I held your hand as you let go,
Now you’ve passed you’re in a cask
You’ve finally found peace at last.

I was a private person in life, so I don’t want to end that life with people gawking at me while I lay in a coffin. I am being cremated and my ashes split 5 ways, so instead of going to see the great creator, I will be going to see Peter the Cremator. Much loved brother of Brian, and Dad of 1 Jody, 2 Trudy, 3 Tracy-Lee, 4 Troy, 5 Tanya.
