Peacefully at Dunstan Hospital surrounded by family on Wednesday 12 February 2020; aged 83 years. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Joe, a much loved and cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Michael and Lynley, Trish and Stephen Gilligan, loved Grandma of Anthony and Mandy, Brendon; Adam and Kelsey, Sarah and Nick. A service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill, on Monday 17 February at 2.00pm. Private cremation to follow. Passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020, at Hospice Southland, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Jim. Much loved mum of Ronald, and David, mother-in-law of Angie. Loved and cherished Nana of Nicky, and Hannah; Chantelle, and Kayla, and Great-grandmother of Ryan. Loved daughter of Bert* and Vi* Richards. Aged 87, of Bluff. Passed away at Hospice Southland on Sunday 9 February, 2020. Cherished wife of the late Ron. Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Karen and Seppy, Jan and John, Ronnie and Nikki. Adored Nan and Great-Nan of all her Grand and Great-Grandchildren. Loved sister of the late Bill, the late Fay, and Gay. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. WILSON, John Raymond Brooke.
Passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, just 59 years young. Loved Uncle John of Philippa Prouting (Pip) and Tom Tulloch, and Amanda Prouting (Mandy) and Roy Haffner (Wellington). Family thank the nurses and staff of Rowena Jackson for their dedicated care, as well as Hospice and the Cancer Society for their support. Alice’s family would like to extend their thanks to all those who supported us at the time of her passing. Many thanks to those who sent cards, dropped off food, baking and flowers. Also those who attended her service. Special thanks to the Staff and GP’s of Ross Home for the wonderful care and support you gave Mum. We are very grateful to Fr Aidan Cunningham for his guidance and officiating at Mum’s Requiem Mass, with Fr Merv McGettigan and Fr Michael Hill ably assisting, she would have appreciated it as much as we did. Also we will always be grateful for the care and support Mum received from her Sacred Heart Church family. Thank you to those who paid tribute to the many aspects of Mum’s life.
