BENNETT, Rosemarie (Rose).  11-11-1942 to 03-01-2019. CADDIE, David Moir. Passed away in Tauranga on January 5, 2019. Aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband and constant companion of Jean (nee Grant) for over 65 years. McKECHNIE, Hilda Jessie. Passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018, in Nelson, in her 98th year. Adored wife of the late Allan for more than 70 years. Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Alastair and Jennifer McKechnie (Maryland, USA), Ross and Celia McKechnie (Nelson), and Jane and Peter Egan (Brisbane). Loved grandmother and great-grandmother of her 7 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. At Hilda’s request a private funeral service and interment, with her beloved Allan, has been held in Nelson.

PEARCE, Newry Mourne (nee Brown). Passed away peacefully at Takitimu Rest Home on Thursday, January 10, 2019. While holding her hand our precious mother, in her 90th year, gently breathed her last breath. Mourne was the dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Allison (Tasmania), Jane and Peter (Brisbane), Bruce and Jacki, Carman and Larry, Maurice and Julia. An adored grandmother of Desyne, Joanne and Richard; Tina, Deanne, Aaron and Hannah; Angela, Kelly*, Craig*, Kelsey and Christine, and all her great-grandchildren. A private cremation has been held. BULLMORE, Doug. July 1945 – November 2018. Doug’s family would like to thank everyone who has supported them over the past few months of Doug’s illness and his death. Your flowers, cards, letters and baking were heart-warming to receive. A special thank-you to his doctors, Dr Alan Wright of Dunedin and Dr Matthew Stokes of Lumsden for their professional care of Doug over the past twelve years. Thank you to everyone who visited Doug in Clare House and in the hospital. He was always delighted to see visitors arrive and it was a real pleasure for him to have people to talk to. The staff of Clare House and at Southland Hospital were always very professional, caring and helpful.
Thanks to everyone who came to Doug’s funeral and made it a service that reflected everything that he loved. To the Balfour Lions Club and the Gore Aero Club, thank you for the guard of honour and also to the Aero Club for the very moving fly past. Finally to Rev Chris Rodgers and to David Fraser of Winton & Districts Funeral Services, thank you for making Doug’s farewell special for us all.

CROWE, Noni Patricia. Greg, Deborah and Duncan, Barry and Debbie, Gillian and Dan, and Vanessa and their families, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness following our sad loss. FRASER, Kenneth (Ken). Robyn, Paul, Carmen and families wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all family and friends for the love and support following the recent passing of Ken.
