Passed away in the care of Windsor Park Care Home staff, Gore, on Thursday, May 9, 2019, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife and life partner for 63 years of Murray, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Graham and Debbie, Jeffrey, Shaun and Lois, Lynne and Dave. Loved Nana to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Ruth’s life will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Tuesday, May 14 at 1.30pm, private cremation to follow. Passed peacefully in the company of her beloved husband, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Beloved wife of Kay. Loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Faye, and Andrew and Carol. For the loving care and support I have had thank you to Paula, the Parkinson Community Educator, Royal District Nurses, you are wonderful girls, I.S.I. S, and the Hospice in your care of Ally. On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, peacefully at Peacehaven Rest Home, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim Holland, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Noel* and Annette*, Pat*, Kevin and Sharon Harvey, and adored Nana and Nana Cath to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved Aunty of her many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff at Peacehaven for their love and support over the years. Requiem mass for Cath will be celebrated in Peacehaven’s Chapel, 498 Tweed Street, Invercargill, at 1.00pm, on Monday, May 13, 2019, followed by interment at Riverton Cemetery.
