Loved wife of the late Derek. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Warwick and Kathryn, Lynley and Keith, and Gillian and Darrin. Eclectic, one-of-a-kind Gran of Megan, Dylan, Josie, Hamish, Tim and Luken; and great-grandmother of Lily and Lachlan. Jo was looking forward to the celebration of her 90th birthday, but it wasn’t to be. A service to celebrate Jo’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Monday, December 19 at 10.00am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ can be made at the service. Died peacefully with his love and best friend for 64 years, Christabel (McNeill) and family at his side. Ron was a much loved and respected Father, Father-in-law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather to Clark & Jackie, and Ellie; Kenneth, Jacob, Kelsey & Kieren, Lachie, Mason, and Abbey; Tony & Cheryl, Kate, and Christy. Our lovely Lola passed away, quietly and peacefully, on Monday, December 5, 2022, aged 92. Loved wife of the late Roy (Gore). Cherished mother and mother-in-law of David and Kerry (Wellington), Megan and Richard Pope (Adelaide), Leigh-Anne and Duncan Jefferis (West Melton). Adored Grandma of Devon (Auckland), and Shivarn (Palmerston North), Nick and Hamish (Adelaide), Luke (Rolleston), and Scott (Toronto), and their lovely partners. Adored Great-Grandma of Cameron and Edward (Adelaide). We are holding a private Family Celebration service in Christchurch. A celebration service will be held in Gore in early 2023 where her ashes will be interred. So many people have loved and cared for Mum, from Brisbane, 64 years in Gore, and the last two years in Christchurch. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you.
A loving life, well lived, and she always made people smile.
