Unexpectedly, on April 30, 2021 at Dunedin Hospital. Much loved daughter of the late Jim and Joan Agnew, dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Robert (Tiny) and Wendy, Peter, and Jan, a loved Aunty Suzie of Craig and Courtney, Laura, James and Abby, Jo and Michelle and family, will be missed by Bugsy her cat, and a treasured workmate of all the staff at Tiny’s Butchery in Milton.
A Memorial Service for Suzie will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 1.30pm in the Milton Country Club, Union Street, Milton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Milton District Nurses would be appreciated and may be left at Suzie’s service. Messages C/- 4 George Street, Milton 9220.
COOMBES, Irene Rose:
(Formerly of Queenstown). Passed away on April 30, 2021 at The Maniototo Healthcare Hospital, Ranfurly, 2 days before her 94th birthday. Dearly loved and loving wife of *Lyall for over 60 years, eldest child of *Rose and *Thomas Cowie, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Lorna and David and adored gran and great-gran to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a loved sister. Special thanks to Dr’s Verne and Adele and the staff of the Maniototo Healthcare Hospital. A service for Irene will be held at St Bathans Hall, Main Street, St Bathans, on Thursday, May 6 at 10.30am, followed by a private family interment. It is with heavy hearts and very deep sadness we advise Annabelle passed away peacefully with Ajit by her side on Saturday 1st May 2021, at Clare House, aged 67 years. Dearly loved wife, best friend and mentor of Ajit for 44 years. Much loved mother and mother in law of Rebecca (Becky) and Gregory, Sarah and Indy and the late Aimee Rose. Adored Grandma of Zahara and Yasmina, Arun and Clara. In lieu of flowers donations to Neurological Foundation would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. A Farewell and Celebration of Life service for Annabelle will be held on Saturday 8th May at 10am, J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Treasured Nanny of Olivia, and William. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Alwyn and Allan Carmichael, Alister and Margaret and the late Margaret McLean. Loved by all her nieces and nephews. Loved husband of Marjorie and one of a kind Dad of Sherryl and Robin South (Gore), Craig (Timaru), Penny and John Shanks (Te Anau), treasured Grandad of Nigel and Sophie, Trudie and Reece; Cameron, Reagan, Brayden; Louise, and Georgia, extra special great Grandad of Evelyn, Ryan; Toby, Caleb; and Layla. A service to celebrate Clarri’s life will be held at the Gore RSA Function Room, Bowler Avenue, on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.
