Dearly loved husband of Faye, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Andrew and Tracey (Invercargill), Logan and Jillian (Townsville), Kent and Amanda (Hunter Valley), much loved Grandad Gordie of Jessica, and Brayden; Jackson, and Molly; loved brother-in-law of Peter and the late Carol Jackson, Cargill and Velda Frobarth and the late Betty, and a loved Uncle. Aged 87, of Wanaka, on October 28, 2022. Dearly loved wife of John. Aged 89 years. Peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Surrounded by her loving family at Southland Hospital. Wife of the late Earl. Much loved Mum of Donna and Syd Dyer (Cromwell), Mary and Nigel Climo (Te Anau), Michael and Maria (Alexandra/Te Anau), Noeleen and Grant Bolger (Te Anau). Requiem Mass for Mum will be celebrated in The Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Thursday, November 3, at 1.30pm, then leaving for Charlton Park Cemetery. KEARNEY, Edward John (Ted, Teddy):
Passed away peacefully at Nelson Hospital, with his loving wife, Lyn, by his side, on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Much loved stepfather to Karla and Nathan. Special Gana to Victoria and Lochlin; Shanuae, Kendra, Levi and Riley. Dearly loved and respected brother of Joyce Bell and Sylvia Paine (Invercargill). Loved by all his nephews and nieces. Loved and respected friend of Karen and Barry Vaughan. Most respected brother of the Lodge Edendale 289 and Lodge Awatere 292 Seddon. Special thanks to the nursing staff of the Nelson Hospital Medical Ward. According to Ted’s wishes, a private memorial service has been held. Suddenly in the care of Ascot Rest Home on Sunday October 30, 2022. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Resthaven, Gore. Dearly loved wife of Joy for 58 years. Dearly loved dad of Darryl and Lorella, Blair and Sonya, Jayne and Jason Hook, Lyndon and Katrina. Special Grandad to his 10 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters. A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at the Gore RSA Function Lounge, Bowler Avenue, on Wednesday, November 2, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.
