BLAIR, Barbara Isobel:
On November 25, 2022, at Dunedin Public Hospital; aged 82 years. (Formerly of Clinton). Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late John, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Maree and Francis Parker, Janey, Pete and Sarah, and much loved Gran and Granny of Kyla, BJ, Charlie, and Harriet. The family wish to thank the staff of the Catlins Medical Centre and Access Community Health for their kindness and compassion shown towards our Mum. A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1.30pm in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, followed by a private cremation. BRYSON, Lynette Lillian (nee Somerville):
Passed away suddenly at her home in Invercargill on Saturday November 26, 2022. Aged 68 years. Deeply loved wife of Gordon. Loved mother of Kelly-May, Thomas and Rebecca, Hayley and Robert. Loving Nana of her 12 adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to farewell Lynette will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Thursday December 1. Followed by interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Sadly Jimmy passed away in the loving and special care of Calvary Hospital on November 24, 2022. On Thursday 24 November 2022 at Invercargill, 5 days short of his 94th birthday the old electrician’s light flickered and dimmed then slowly faded into darkness. Dearly loved and loving husband of the late Val (Valerie) and loved and respected Dad, Grandad, and Great-Grandad of Kay and Ross Tangney, Ricki and Leanne Tangney, Paula Tangney, Christy and Ramon Zeestraten, Hunter B, Hunter P, Deakon, Ruby, Pippa, Saedy, Arlo, and Emmie. Loved special Dad of Vanessa Ross. Loved son of William* and Annie* Liddell and loved brother of Iris*, Neville*, Mervyn*, and Hyacinth*, much loved by all his nieces and nephews. Very loved Grandad and great-grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
