Passed away suddenly due to a medical event on Thursday, March 24, 2022, aged 42, surrounded by his loving family at PA Hospital, Brisbane. Dearly loved husband of Nerida and father of Mckenzie. Loved son and stepson of Donna and Wayne Hunt, Gordon and Tess Carson. Brother of Chris, Jenna and Chelsea. Brother-in-law of Rachel and Dean. Loved uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

MORGAN, Vida Heather Ruby:
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our much loved Vida at Southland Hospital on Sunday, 27 March, 2022 with her daughters by her side. Aged 87. Dearly loved wife of the late Bert. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Annette and Gary Allen (Invercargill), Heather and Craig Thacker (Gore), the late Craig, the late Ross and the late Lyle. Much loved Granny of Korina and Nathan, Stacey and Mayana, Rebecca and Simon, Damian, Tracy and Jason, Mike and Dave, Nicola and Michael, James and Amy, Morgan and Olivia. Much loved special Nana of April and loved friend of Teresa. Much loved Great-Granny of Daryl, Carlos, Alex, and the late Sean, Riley, Devon, Jayden, Seth, Charlotte, Mitchell, Nikayla,Toby, Aubree, Ollie, Grace. Much loved Great-Great-Granny of Harlee. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Lill, the late Linda and Andrew Roy and a much loved aunty and cousin. Special thanks to everyone involved in Vida’s care. The Funeral Service for Vida will be held at the Southland Crematorium on Tuesday, 29 March, 2022, commencing at 1.30pm. Sadly, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, 19 March, 2022. Loved partner of Punou Vena Tupola, and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jasmine and Lyndon Rolton. Loved Stepmother of Mamma Tupola, Nikola and Kimberley Taylor Tupola, and Hope Taylor Tupola.
Loved nana of her grandchildren and loved Nana Carrol of her great grandchildren. Dearly loved daughter of Olive* and George (Mac)* Skerrett, loved sister and sister-in-law of Maralyn and Michael Busher, Trevor* and Jeni Skerrett. Loved fondly by her nieces and nephews. Carrol will be at home from Monday 28 March 2022 with her family. Passed away peacefully at Calvary Hospital, Invercargill, on Thursday 24th March 2022. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy May Winterburn. Loved stepfather and stepfather in-law of John and Prem McLean. Dearly loved grandad of Patricia McLean.

Our beautiful, mum, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty and dear friend passed away on the March 26, 2022. Loved Mum of *Jan, Kiri (Alexandra), Debbie and Tua Raroa (Auckland), Lisa (Melbourne), Vanessa and Jason (Gore). Loved Nanny, Nanny Whang and Nanny Anne of Benjamin, Wi-Luke, Kauen, Goldey, Rubious, Julian, Pearl and *Sonny and loved Nanny Whang of great-grandchildren, Mason and Tua Junior. Loved daughter of *Jack and *Alice Bruhns, sister of Margaret Bruhns (Christchurch), *Joy Turnbull, *Colin and Adrienne Bruhns (Melbourne) and treasured Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Mum is resting at her daughter’s house at 101 Coutts Road, Gore. For those who wish to come and visit, our doors are open to you. A service to celebrate Anne’s beautiful life, in the very community she loved, will be held at the Gore Town and Country Club, 2 Bury Street, Gore, on Tuesday, March 29 at 10.30am, followed by a private whanau committal.
