Peacefully on June 23, 2022, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Mirriam Austin, father of Mark, Dougal, Craig and Logan. Grandfather and a friend of many. The service will be held at 10.30am, on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at J Fraser & Sons, corner of Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A live-stream of his service will be available on his tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes where messages may also be left. His interment will take place at 2.00pm at Wakapatu Cemetery, end of Austin Road, Wakapatu. Please covid test prior to arrival.

GONSCAK, David Ivan:
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland on Sunday, 26 June 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Loved and cherished husband of Jenni, father of Justin and Tess, and Nicholas and Ali. Adored GDad of all his grandchildren. Loved son of Ivan* and Noeline* Gonscak and a loved brother to Sally, and Donna. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 29 June 2022 at 11.00am. Peacefully at Hospice Southland, on Wednesday June 22, 2022, aged 91 years. Son of the late James and Huia Malcolm. Special Cousin of Joy Johnstone* of Ohai. Cherished Friend and Adopted Family Member of Lance and Leane Keast and Family, Colleen and Jimmy* Duncan, James, Rachel, Jack and Madison (Fashions) Kristy, Bryan, Eden and Rosie. Special thanks to Lance and Leane Keast and Father Hamesh. A Service for Russell is to be held at St Peter & Paul’s Catholic Church, Nightcaps, Wednesday, June 29, at 1.00pm. followed by interment at the Wairio Cemetery. No Flowers by request.
