Elinor is now at rest after an illness on Wednesday, 21st September 2022. In her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Noel. Very much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Annette and Trevor Fulton, & Chris and the late Barbara. Adored Grandmother of Elizabeth, Caroline, Sarah, Anne- Marie, Miranda, Rochelle, Darin and Great Grandmother of Xavier, Zac, Eva, Carter, Rebecca, Henry, Miles, and Finnley. Loved sister of Ron* and Helen* O’Kane, & Rosalie and Dallas* Pannet and a loved sister-in-law of the
Ayling family. A loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. At Elinor’s request a private farewell has been held.
EDWARDS, Albert Edward (Albie):
It is with much sadness we wish to advise that our much loved Albie passed away at Gore Hospital, surrounded by family, on Saturday, September 24, 2022, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Pat, very much loved Dad and Grandad of Sheila and Lawrence Clement, Alex, and Michael Gillan, Justin and Tamara, Jeffrey and Matthew Clement; Linda Bonney, *Jenna-Rose, Nickolas and Nelly and George, and a loved great-Grandad Albie of Maddison, James, Issac, Tyson, Amya, and Jax.

A service to celebrate Albie’s life will be held at the Gore Town and Country Club, Bury Street, Gore, on Monday, October 3, at 1.30pm, thereafter leaving for private cremation. Loved father and father-in-law of Darryl Payne and Simone Boult (Nelson), Rodney Payne and Lana Crengle (Nelson), and Malcolm Payne and Tanya Haywood (Invercargill). Adored step-father of Lis and Tania Owens (Invercargill). Loved brother of Ruth Shaw (Invercargill), Marion Calvert (Riverton), Lesley and the late Norman Payne (Invercargill), and Nalda and Norman Arthur (Whanganui). Loved grandad to Lenny and Ruby Payne (Nelson). Cherished uncle to all his nieces and nephews and special friend to Dick and Noeline Chisholm (Rangiora), Neil Walker (Wanaka), Rob Bell (Invercargill) and enthusiastic fishing mate to many. After a short illness at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village, Stoke. A memorial service will be held at Invercargill Workingmens Club, 154 Esk Street, Invercargill, at 3.00pm, on Friday, September 30.
