DILLON, Sylvia Noelene (nee Kelly):
Passed away, surrounded by her family, at Longwood Care Home Riverton on Sunday 23rd October 2022; aged 94 yrs. Dearly loved wife of the late Keith Dillon and much loved mother and mother in law of Pam and Ray Fleck (Thornbury), Lynette Hourston and the late Ian and Bill Ussher (Earnscleugh), Gail and Phil Ward (Tasmania), Lesley and Ross Carter (Lorneville), Roger and Denise (Invercargill), Raewyn and Alex Fallow (Otahuti), Susan Dillon (Invercargill), Sandra and Peter McLean (Otatara), Robyn Dillon and Damon Campbell (Waitati), Lex and Paula (Nelson) and the late Paul. A very special grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother and a much loved aunt. Sylvia will be resting at 490 Thornbury/Waimatuku Road. A service to celebrate Sylvia’s life will be held in the Riverton Combined Church, Palmerston St, Riverton on Thursday 27th October at 1.30pm. Interment to follow at the Riverton Cemetery. Gwen died peacefully with her daughters Helen and Heather by her side on Saturday October 22, 2022, at Sacred Heart Home and Hospital, Dunedin. Loved wife of John* Hodges, and Walter* Warren, loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Miles Young, and Ray* Quinlan, Heather and Neil Reid, Elizabeth* (Liz) Macdonald, Trevor* Warren, and Michelle* Warren, a loved Nana of Rikki; Nadine, and Kyle; Hayden, and Justine, a loved Grandma of Jordan, and Mia; Levi, Capri, and Deon; Halle, and Charlie, a dearly loved daughter of Helen* and Alexander* Mitchell, loved sister of Doreen*, Jean*, Thelma*, and Percy*. A Memorial Service to celebrate Gwen’s life will be held in Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel, at 2.00pm on Thursday October 27. 29.5.1991 – 14.10.2022
Age 31. Free after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Much loved daughter of Julie and Brian and sister of Stephen. Loved wife of Jayden. Loved niece of John, and Neil, Nola, and Neil, and the late Roy, Aurelle and Ellona. Much loved by many cousins, and her adopted grandparents Sharron and David Robbie. A service to celebrate Danielle’s life will be held at 1.00pm (AEST) on Tuesday, October 25 at Heritage and Heritage Funerals, Wantirna, Melbourne, with a memorial service held in Invercargill for all her NZ based family and friends at a later date.
