NICOL, Marjorie Veronica (nee Davis):
On January 22, 2022, unexpectedly at Ross Home and Hospital, Dunedin; aged 95 years. Loved and loving wife of Charlie*, loved Mum of John, Lauren* and Russell* Dickson, Anne, Stephen and Michele, and Anthony*, and loved mother-in-law of Ngairie, loved Nana of all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, loved sister and sister-in-law, and a loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Waikiwi Gardens Rest Home, Invercargill, and Ross Home Dunrowan Unit, Dunedin, for their wonderful care. A service for Marjorie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2.30pm on Wednesday, January 26. A Vaccine Passport will be required to attend. Due to Covid restrictions ‘Red’ numbers are limited to 100; please contact Hope and Sons on (03)4555074 to register your attendance. SCARLET, Elizabeth Mary Edith (Betty):
On January 22, 2022, peacefully at Rita Angus Retirement Village, Wellington, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Albert Scarlet. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Fernah and Jonathan, Heather and Nick, Cathy and Jason. Devoted grandmother of Malcolm, Judith, Anna, Oliver, Edward, Bianca and Cleo.
Loved by all who knew her. She touched the lives
of many.
Now resting in the arms of Jesus.
Special thanks to the staff of Rita Angus for their care and support of Betty. As per Betty’s wishes, a private service will be held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Dunedin.
