FLINT, David Mark.
David passed away peacefully after a long illness at his home in Christchurch, on April 19, 2019, aged 51 years. David was so dearly loved all his life by his parents Archie and the late June, his brother Peter, sister-in-law Michelle and his nieces and nephew Maia, Eve, and Marshall. He was also loved and wonderfully cared for by his other family at Hohepa, Arnah, Jerome, Patricia, Phillip and many others who worked with and supported David. The family are deeply thankful for the wonderful loving care he received from Hohepa. David will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and caregivers. A memorial service will be held for David at Hohepa, Barrington, Chch, at 1.00pm, on Monday, April 22. A graveside service will be held at the Arrowtown Cemetery at 3.00pm, on Wednesday, April 24, followed by a function at the Arrowtown Bowling Club. David will be laid to rest beside his mum, who he has so deeply missed since her death 18 months ago. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hohepa Canterbury Mobility Van can be made at the funeral service or the burial. HAMLIN, Doreen Mavis (nee McRae).
Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, aged 80. Dearly loved wife of the late Stanley James Hamlin. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul, Brent and Kevin, and Julie and David Kirk. Loved Nana of Rhys and Matthew Kirk. In accordance with Doreen’s wishes, a private service has been held. Peacefully at Longwood Care Home on Thursday, 18 April 2019, aged 90. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Kathrine, much loved father and father-in-law of Trish and Gerry Butler, Fiona and Mark* Smith and Tony Bird, Malcolm and Sandy Sellars. Loved and respected Grandad to Serena, Isaac, Regan, Ethan, Callum, Lincoln, and Toby. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Clifford* and Maida* Sellars, Irwin* and Mavis Sellars, Craik, Marjorie* and Lorraine Heads, Patricia Heads, Gwen* and Jack* Wells, Doug* and Daphne Heads, Elizabeth and John Adam, Airlie and George* Chalmers, Don and Noeline Heads and a loved uncle. Peacefully, on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Gore Hospital, (formerly of Brydone), aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Mavis, much loved father, father-in-law and Grandfather of Stephen and Lorraine Stuart (Ferndale), Jordan, Hayden, and Brock; Nairn and Elizabeth Stuart (Mt. (late of Orepuki). In his 87th year. Beloved husband of Gail* (nee Young). Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Trevor* and Suzanne (Invercargill); Noel (Dunedin); Dawn and Jeff (Dunedin); Lyall and Shirlene (Orepuki) and Graeme (Ruatapu).
