Peacefully at Vickery Court on Saturday, 18 June, 2022, after a caring and fruitful 106 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Tom Burgess and the late Samuel Matthews. Cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Miles* and Heather, Colin* and Kathy, Dorothy and Lindsay* Fleming, Ian and Linda. Loved Nana of Daryl and Murray; Athol, Warren, Brendan, and Robin; Grant, and Isabell; Kerry, Jeremy, Gareth, and Sam; and a special great and great-great-grandmother. A great gatherer of true friends throughout her entire life. The family wish to acknowledge the love and care given to Isa during her latter years at Vickery Court. A service to celebrate Isa’s life will be held in the Winton Presbyterian Church, Meldrum Street on Thursday, 23 June at 1.00pm. Burial at the East Winton Cemetery to follow. HOWARD, Brian Leslie:
Peacefully, yet unexpectedly Brian passed away on Friday 17th June 2022 at his Invercargill home. Aged 66 years. Love and memories of Brian are shared with his 2 son’s Andrew and Jordan and his daughter Lisa, life companion of Barbara. Very loved Grandfather. Suddenly at home on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Aged 68 years. Dearly loved husband of Wendy. Loved father and father-in-law of Stephanie and Jason Myron, Nicola and Simon Dowling. Kryssie and Daryl Wells. Loved and adored Grandad of Cameron, Isaac and Jacob Myron; Bede, Harrison and Charlotte Dowling; Ryan, Alex and Kate Wells. Best friend to his dog Kai. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Alan Carman, and brother-in-law of Robert and Gill Cooper, Jill* and Gordon Pratt, Ken and Tania McConnell. Special friend of Sue and Ian Baldwin.
