Linda passed away peacefully, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, aged 88 years. Loved wife of Doug who passed away in 2013, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Janice and Ross* McKerchar (Winton) and loved Nana Linda to Ben and Josie, and Scott. Loved sister-in-law to Erice and Errol Molloy (Wallacetown), Maureen and John* Webb (Wellington), Harry* and Nancy* Drain, Duncan* and Joy* Drain, Margaret* and Peter* Molloy. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. (*denotes deceased).
For Linda, Spar Bush was always home and in her heart for 85 years. Our family sincerely thanks the wonderful staff at Edinburgh, Donavon & O’Byrne Wings at Rowena Jackson who cared for her so well over the past three years. A celebration of Linda’s life to be held at The Hideaway, 201 Lochiel Branxholme Road,Lochiel at 1.00pm, Wednesday, August 3, 2022. At Linda’s request there will be a private burial to follow. MACPHERSON, Podge ‘Roger’:
Of Invercargill. The final whistle has blown on 29 July 2022. Dearly loved husband of Carolyn. Much loved Dad of Rodney, Trudy and Brook. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jenny and Allan Ball, Ross Macpherson, Grant Macpherson*; Kevin Shaw, Owen Shaw, Bob and Sue Shaw, Leslie Shaw*, and Elaine Stirling. Special loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Podge’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday 3 August at 1:30pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and can be made at the service. PAWSON, Nicholas Gregory (Nick):
Died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, aged 68 years. Much loved son of the late Patricia and Oscar, brother and brother-in-law of Tim and Paulette, Paddy and Di, Sean and Gill, Quinn and Wonda, Ciaran (RIP), sister-in-law Bronwyn (RIP), Joe and Suzanne, Liam and the late Char, and a much loved uncle to his delightful nieces and nephews. A generous, humble and unassuming man, he quietly touched many peoples lives, and climbed many a mountain across his years.

We would like to thank the staff at Rowena Jackson especially Sue, Jenny and Melissa in the Edinburgh Wing, and the staff at Southland Hospital especially the team in the Surgical Ward for their great care of Alan.
