In his 62nd year. It is with heavy hearts that we announce Marty’s passing (unexpectedly) on Saturday, July 17, 2021, surrounded by his loved and devoted wife Julie and children at Dunedin Hospital. Much loved Dad of Graeme, Kyle and Wendy, Nathan and Shayna, Nicole, Marti and Matt. Much missed Grandad of his 15 grandchildren. “He was our life.”
A service for Marty will be held in the West Otago Community Centre, Suffolk Street, Tapanui, on Thursday, July 22, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. Passed away on July 16, 2021 at Christchurch Hospital. Beloved wife of David for 60 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Kelvin and Vivian; Nigel and Monique, and the late Roydon. Much loved and treasured Mum of Bridget and Lindsay Scott (Poolburn), Carmen and Reggie (Western Australia), and Greg and Renee Hodge (Mosgiel). Special Nana of Shaye, Eryn, and Alex; Mace, and London. A service for Kay will be held in Maniototo Park Stadium, Dungannon Street, Ranfurly, on Wednesday, July 21, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. After a courageous battle, Ken passed away at the Southland Hospice on Friday, July 16, 2021, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Kathleen. Much loved Dad of Douglas and Anne, Russell, Wayne and Sharron, Deborah and Allan, Kayleen and Regan. Loved Pop of Ryan and Serrina, Sarah, Bethany and Eden, Christopher, Jordon and Megan, John and Bianca, Jessica, Matthew and Elicia, Marisa, Charlie, Keisha and Benjamin. Great-Pop to Tatiana, Ryder, Sophie, Walter, Scarlett, Charlie. Brother of Alan (late) Owen, Alison and Murray (late), Trevor and Sandra. Will be missed by family and friends alike.
