CHAMBERLAIN, Phillip Hector (Phil):
On Friday 15 July 2022 after a long illness, Phil has died peacefully in Southland Hospital in his 87th year, and sixty third year of marriage. Loved husband of Janice. Dad of Gerard*, Mark (Dunedin), Amanda (Otatara), Virginia and Tony (Lake Hayes), and Louise and Wayne (Wanaka). Cherished Grandad of Caroline Rose, Alice, Timothy, Michael, Ingrid and Maggie. Great Grandad of Ella, Jack, Imogen and Lucy. Loved son of Isobel* and Richard*, brother of Joseph* and Cath, Marie, Edwin* and Kathie, and Richard and Diane. In lieu of flowers donations to St Vincent de Paul would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. Family would like to sincerely thank all who have helped with Phil’s care, especially Kew Hospital and at home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 20th July 2022 at 11am, St Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street Invercargill. A family burial at Otautau Cemetery will follow, arriving approximately 3pm.
